Preschool Registration ends Feb. 28 for District Residents. NON Residents registration begins on March 6.

Bright Beginnings, Kindergarten Connection and Wee Irish Preschool Programs!

Maple Lake Preschool registration forms will be available for pick up at the Maple Lake Community Education Office. We will also have a Preschool OPEN HOUSE on Tuesday, February 9 at 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM we encourage you to come check out our facilities and program.

*Classes are open to children who will be at least three years of age on or before September 1st, 2016.

Preschool in Annandale and Maple Lake is an integrated program providing a high quality experience for preschool age children. Warm and caring staff will provide plenty of "hand-ons" developmentally appropriate activities that will help your child grow and learn. Children will be exposed to a variety of experiences to improve self-image, socialization skills, language and cognitive skills, and small and large motor development.

Bright Beginnings and Kindergarten Connection Preschool classes are held at Annandale Elementary located at 655 Park Street and Wee Irish Preschool classes are held at the Maple Lake Elementary School located at 200 Hwy 55 East.

Fee: Tuition is based on a sliding fee scale

DAILY SCHEDULE
Arrival: Teachers work with parents and children to make the change from home to school comfortable.
Free Play: Children choose their own activity. They may choose to play in many developmentally areas such as art, blocks, books, dramatic play area, math, science, or sensory areas.
Opening: In a large group, teachers and children share ideas and participate in songs, fingerplays, music making, and stories.
Learning Stations: In small groups, teachers and children take part in activities relating to the weekly theme.
Snack Time: This is a time for visiting, helping yourself, taking turns, learning routines, and eating healthy.
Large Motor Play: Children practice skills like jumping, throwing, running, climbing, balancing and pedaling.
Good-Byes/Ready to Go: Preparing to go home is a big job. Teachers and children work together.
